2017
The need became visible
A survey at CITAM Buru Buru revealed barriers including limited startup capital, financial skills, information, coaching and mentorship.
2017-2018
GROW took shape
A 12-week empowerment curriculum brought together trainers, financiers, public institutions, Christian business leaders and professionals.
Late 2019
The vision expanded
Demand from other CITAM assemblies led a team chaired by Elder David Tanki to explore a forum serving the wider CITAM community.
29 Feb 2020
CBF was launched
The CITAM Business Forum launched at CITAM Valley Road during a breakfast attended by about 1,000 people, supported by CITAM leadership and Family Bank.
2020 onward
A voice of hope and enterprise
Through the pandemic and economic disruption, CBF continued through conferences, trade fairs, training, partnerships and local chapters.
2026
A continental milestone
The seventh CBF Conference & Expo brings the movement into a new chapter under the theme “A Dream for a Better Africa.”
